Vista / Kaspersky / Flashget = Slow Downloads.

August 4th, 2016

Ok, I have 2 computers connected to a router with a connection from comcast, one have windows xp and the other windows vista. On my windows xp computer I have kaspersky Internet Security 8.0.0.506 installed and flashget as well, when donwloading from ~ Dead file host ~ I get speed up to 2.000 KB/s which is perfect!
Now on windows vista I also have the same version of KIS and Flashget but I only get abou 200-600 KB/s very unstable, but if I disable KIS my download speed goes all the way again as windows xp.
Only thing that bothers me is having to disable KIS everytime I have to make a download and also not having a AV on at the time of downloading files, which I believe thats what AV is made for =].
So the problem is with windows vista and kaspersky but I dont know why is doing it. Any help please?
Thanks.

Dude sorry to say this, dont take it on the wrong way… but dont come and post on something that is off topic, by off topic I mean: 1 I didnt mention in any part of my post that Im looking for new software, If i want that I would port something like recommend me something else and 2: Im trying to find out why in one OS its working while the other is not.
Please if you know a fix to this, help me… and NO I DONT want to use anything else… Thanks.

1. You didn’t mention that you don’t want to use anything else.
2. I gave you an option you’re not obliged to do what I say.
3. I know NOD32 + IDM will fix your problem because they always do.
4. Point at #2 again.
Good luck.
