*******VISTA DELL PROBLEM*******

i have dowloaded and installed Vista ultamite 32bit and can do everything ok
BUT on system propertys it says my pc is a dell with the big dell logo
i was wonderng if there is a patch or a crack that can change this
its not a big problem ut really anoys me as people think i have a dell and i didt build it,but i did
any help apreciated

How many people are even going to see this screen other than you?
Someone asked a similar question a week or two ago, I’ll see if I can find the thread.

well it may sound stupid but if i show a friend y pc or sumthing they are like “ahh u got a dell” and stuff
and dells are really bad pc’s

Open the folder bellow and delete the following file:
C:\Windows\System32\oobe\DELL_LOGO.png
And don’t go around saying dells are really bad pc’s..until you use one…

Off topic but yea Dell’s aren’t that bad, just remove the trial stuff that comes with the PC when you get it

ahh got it fixed
and dells are bad ,i have read and actulay seen that they have a deal with intel to lower the FSB and l2 Chache so they can get them at a cheaper price

My Dell xps 720 rocks thanks, and the two other Dells I’ve had, but on topic.
I guess you have a Dell bios crack or Dell OEM.
I think the only way to “de” brand a PC is by the installation source or with a lot of jumping through hoops, I suggest search google for he various methods

i have compleatky debranded it now thru registry changes
it was a dell OEM that i dowloaded but now is totaly ok
and usaly dell XPS are ok
and dells are really bad pc’si didn’t see any problem in that..
