VirtualBox question

ok, im running Ubuntu in a windows 7 virtualbox, my question is, if i use this (ubuntu) to do all my web surfing can i still get malware/virus’s?…….that affect windows i mean…..

Well, depends. If you get a virus that spreads through the network, and filesharing is enabled, then yes.
I been using Windows with out an AV since 1993 and never had a virus. Just us your head man =D
(oh and did I mention, it would have to be a virus that originates on Linux and is designed to spread to and infect windows, lol)
