Virgin Media Just detailed all my emails? What can i do?

I am currently on virgin broadband, and with virgin broadband i got an email which i have been using primarly for work.
I woke up this morning to find my whole inbox had been deleted, i have checked trash but its just not there. Any adivse on any chance of me recovering my emails?

on the phone right now, but is there anything else i could do? Or anything i could possibly say to them, i mean chances are this doesnt happen to most people.

You can’t do much to web-based email accounts yourself, since it’s all on their servers.

If you get them back I’d suggest setting up a gmail account, as you can fetch mail from other accounts and archive them. I’ve been using gmail since the early beta stages and never lost an email. Always good to be on the safe side though and back them up to your computer http://www.gmail-backup.com/

I’m afraid its in their hands, you can’t do much your end except keep bugging them. If its their fault and you have lost personal data due to their mistake I’m sure they will try and get it all back to prevent complaints. I have a gmail account which is very stable and never had any problems.
