use tv instead of monitor?

as the title says, can i use my tv and a monitor?
i have a 32 inch hdtv and i need to buy a desktop pc, and is there a way to use it?

Sure you can. Just buy a pc that has DVI, and buy a DVI to HDMI cable.

I had a small cable for TV out included in the package of my laptop, and then I connected it with the cable of my wii. For the sound I used the cables of my speakers, to connect the headphone connection with the tv.

if you have a HDTV then the tv will have VGA and that is all you need most computers have VGA. Ifyou want better pictuyres then yeah make sure the computer has either a dvi or hdmi port and just connect via hdmi.
