Upload before release?
August 4th, 2016
You can’t upload or download them before they are released..Unless if I misunderstood your question..
If you see pre-release versions they generally come from / are:
– beta versions that testers have leaked
– way less frequently someone at the company has leaked the game
– and even more rare, the company server security blows chunks and someone managed to grab a copy of ‘something’ from an ftp server – most often, it’s just a few days before an official release and someone at a retail store (if sold that way) has grabbed a copy from the warehouse, ripped and sent off for cracking
It might also be – 1] A release in a country that has it early, before yours, or
2] a fake, designed to con you into downloading it, perhaps a virus or survey scam..
Thanks for the info. I saw a sims4 upload by someone popupar on here dated aug 29th with official release on sep 2nd.
^Because EA games have no protection over pre-load files. Therefore, EA games are always shared before release. Same with Ubisoft games (retail copies).
Steam has pre-load protection on files and hence no release before official launch.

Thank you got it. Happen to receive my pm about uploading?
When I was ripping movies for the community (this was over 10 years ago) I had a friend who was the manager at a local movie rental store and I would rip movies a few days b4 they were to hit the shelves.. I got out of it a long time ago as my source changed and most files are uploaded quick anyway so I stopped trying so hare to be the first uploaded. But I was one of the first to rip and upload team America world police.. Ahh I miss those days
