July 26th, 2016

ok so my current computer stats are
DELL Inspiron 1520(Laptop)
Operating System: Windows Vista Home Premium 64Bit (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 System Manufacturer: Dell Inc.
System Model: Inspiron 1520 Processor: Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU 540 @ 1.86GHz, ~1.9GHz
Memory: 1014MB RAM
DirectX Version: DirectX 10
I know it doesnt look very good, but its quite an old laptop so…
right now i havnt got enough money to buy another laptop, and my system is really slow when i use more than 4 programs like firefox, photo gallery, moviemaker , so i was thinking according to my specs would it be worth it to upgrade the ram, will that increase the performance of my laptop, or shud i wait to another pc??
from crucial i am thinking of buying from any of these because they were compatible with my system..

if ram is the option which module ie 2gb/4gb would be the best..I know obvious question but i really want to know if itll make a difference..
thanx guys..

Answer #1
i see the lappy isnt good. But if you have the funds, you can custom build a desktop rather than getting a new lappy if its for more intense stuff like Photshopping, gaming, etc stuff that takes alot of recources. Then you can still keep the lappy for general stuff
Answer #2
sorry aul ..because i have already got a pc, and i do a good amount of travelling ..wish to have the lappy with me …so ..but tanx for the commnts anyway:D
Answer #3
well with more ram, it will do something but if the stuff is cpu intensive, then the cpu isnt too strong on it. From what you use, i’d say the cpu isnt too good for multitasking those stuff
Answer #4
If you multitask get like a quad core processor. If want you can overclock the processor.
Answer #5
