updating mac to mavericks version

hello friends iam using 10.7.5 on my own macbook pro if i have downloaded the maverics version through separated links can i update my os version or i will need to do fresh install
my internet connection is poor so i can’t update through app store it will take up to 12 hour !

I would suggest doing it through app store as it is trusted even if it does take 12 hours; just leave it downloading overnight, i wouldn’t do a software update through anywhere else.

I agree with . Its even offered for free through appstore, it may take long but its worth it, to update from appstore
