TV Show reccomendations
October 18th, 2013
Any help would be appreciated. Any new series’s would be great as well
You’ve seen the TV show Mission Impossible bore, before, that s what I mean instead of bore. Sorry, you’ll have to bear with me heaer as my backspace key doesn’t work. About MI, the tv show from the 60s or 70s or in otehr words, ancient times, if you’re from that era than I apologize for misspelling other. The show is alright, but unless you were a Commie at the time you already knew that. Sorry abou that, that was the 50s I was thinking of. Man this ~love~ makes me ~censored~ verbose. And by ~love~ I mean excrement. Where were we befroe the part we found out you were a commie, oh yeah. Have you seen Dragnet? (the second run in color is my preference, if you like the B&W, then that’s cool) Another classic.
Mystery? Have you seen The Twilight Zone or any Hitchcock? If not, then there you go. IMDB is your friend. Oh and go with older series from the 60s with The Twilight Zone. It’s still pretty decent, considering it’s from that era.
Mystery detective?
Agatha Christie
Colombo
Kojak
Baretta
Magnum PI
maybe even Murder She Wrote
or Matlock, it at least has Andy Griffith or Griffin, in it. it is pretty lame though. as are most of these shows. Too repetitive and predictable, like CSI or House.
Have you watched the miniseries House of Cards?

If you’re not used to a British accent then deal with it. Good miniseries that will steal your attention like a cat burglar. Wow, metaphor came out of no hwere.
That should keep you busy for a while.
Only modern one that i can think of is Dexter or 24 (which is sensationalized pure awesomeness as Jack Bauer is the ~love~). More of an action show than mystery though. Try The Outer Limits and Tales from the Crypt, i think that was mystery with some horrors,
Seriously though, watch those shows that I recommened and you might just turn out to be an alright human being.
Ra damnit, I meant simile and not metaphor. Please excuse the air.
I really only like to watch comedy on tv.

PS: All those stupid drama’s are for mindless people. If you like those, you have no taste in good programing.
Avoid stuff like CSI, NCIS, Law & Order, House, etc…

Unfortunately I haven’t seen Community or Sunny in Philly, it’s on my list.
You’ve probably already seen these but if you like Eastbound, then you might like the Trailer Park Boys, although they aren’t similar at all plot wise or in any other way, its just a comedy that I would recommend to people who watch that show. Never got into any of those network shows. If you like scrubs, and can stand a brit accent, then watch Green Wing. Tosh is good. You’ve seen Curb, right? Workaholics?
If you want genuine comedy, you’re going to have to start watching Brit ones. They are the masters. The US is pitiful with only a handful of shows worth mentioning. Other than the ones I mentioned, there is The Larry Sanders Show and Arrested Development, other than that we dont have anything remotely close to funny shows.
