Transfering my programs from XP to 7?

I have a Xp computer with everything I use (programs, documents, videos, etc.) and recently bought a new one with Windows 7 and I was wondering if there was any software that could transfer everything I have in my XP to my windows 7 computer via USB, portable disk or something like that. If anyone knows of any program that might help I’d really appreciate it

No, I mean a software that’ll transfer everything I have in my XP (documents, programs, games, images, videos, etc) to my new Windows 7 PC

That seems nice but I’m actually looking for software that’s free or that I can download from Wbb since this new PC kinda left me with little money to spend in hardware this month

Does that work with programs? it only mentions files and folders

Well theres “TeraCopy.” But it only doubles speed transfer of files to USB mate.

Unless they are portable aps/games, you will have to install them again. You can’t just copy the program or game folder to a new PC.

Actually, I think I found a software that seems to do what I need: Laplink’s PC mover

The only problem is that there are only 3 topics in Apps for it and none of them seem to be working… I’ll try my luck in the request zone. Anyhow, thanks to everybody that helped
