System backup and restore help.

As the title and description says need help with restoring my files from a back up on a lite version of windows vista which is missing the wb&r feature. Through my research ive found out that the exe name is “rstrui.exe” or i might be wrong, but ive gone a few weeks now without any of my files and cant find a lite version to dl that would give me the option.
maybe someone out there can help point me in the right direction or provide me with a dl link so i can just put that file in its dir and see if that works.

Try something like YourUninstaller it has a System Backup & Restore feature, that might help you. I think it load all your System Restore points.

You do realize that restoring from a system image backup will effectively delete everything from your OS partition and restore the OS as it previously was (during the backup time) and not only your personal data right? Just giving you a heads up. Back to it,You’ll have to boot from an untouched vista disc and select “Repair your computer” and “System image recovery”,The rest is obvious.
