As you can tell by my post count I’m new to and I have a few questions for the guys who have been here for awhile. I read most of the stickies and post for new users, however I couldn’t find a good topic on using cracked software. Is there anything you guys do to keep yourself safe when running apps. For example, playing a computer game online or being connected to the Internet while your using Office 2007. I guess my real question is if any of you guys know how easy it is for companies to see if your using cracked software and how safe are they to use? Is there anything you guys do to protect yourselves? Thanks

Install a security suite that includes antivirus that protect your computer from downloaded viruses and a firewall that gives you control over what application/game can access the Internet…Some of them include anti-spyware…
You can try one of those: AVG, Kaspersky, NOD32

so we should be using Microsoft Office with its connection to the internet being blocked? Doesn’t that take away from using outlook or downloading templates online?
