Struggling to crack Photoshop CS5 on MAC

September 21st, 2013

I have a genuine version of Lightroom 3 installed on my MAC.
I installed photoshop CS5 as a trial then edited the hosts file to
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sjc0.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe.activate.com
127.0.0.1 hl2rcv.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 209.34.83.73:443
127.0.0.1 209.34.83.73:43
127.0.0.1 209.34.83.73
127.0.0.1 209.34.83.67:443
127.0.0.1 209.34.83.67:43
127.0.0.1 209.34.83.67
127.0.0.1 ood.opsource.net
127.0.0.1 CRL.VERISIGN.NET
127.0.0.1 199.7.52.190:80
127.0.0.1 199.7.52.190
127.0.0.1 adobeereg.com
127.0.0.1 OCSP.SPO1.VERISIGN.COM
127.0.0.1 199.7.54.72:80
127.0.0.1 199.7.54.72

Then I put in
dscacheutil -flushcache
to the terminal and tried to enter a few keys but they were all rejected.
I tried restarting a few times with no luck. I even tried uninstalling both programs and reinstalling but still nothing.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I don’t use a MAC, I only use the windows version and have updated to the latest update with no problems.
All the IP addresses in your hosts file will not work because that is not how the hosts file works. It’s for hosts, ie URL’s. It doesn’t block IP addresses. Not on windows anyway and I doubt that it is different on Linux or OSX. Therefore you should remove lines such as these:
127.0.0.1 199.7.54.72:80
127.0.0.1 199.7.54.72

The verisign lines are also redundant, they could have negative effects.
After removing all of those, your hosts file is missing one line which I have in my hosts file and that is
127.0.0.1 www.adobeereg.com
Which could be the important one.
Try using this as your hosts file:
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 practivate.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-2.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe-dns-3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ereg.wip3.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sea.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 wwis-dubc1-vip60.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 activate-sjc0.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 adobe.activate.com
127.0.0.1 hl2rcv.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 ood.opsource.net
127.0.0.1 adobeereg.com
127.0.0.1 www.adobeereg.com

I have these as extras which I don’t use, add localhost to the top before using it.
127.0.0.1 hl2rcv.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 t3dns.adobe.com
127.0.0.1 3dns-1.adobe.com

Answer #2
Thank a lot for your help, but no luck.
Answer #3
I’m surprised that those didn’t work. The Mac version must use different servers for the registration checks.
Try adding a website url to the hosts file such as 127.0.0.1 www.msn.com and see if you can access msn. If you can, the hosts file isn’t working correctly.
Isn’t there a cracked version available?

Answer #4
Yeah, cracked version is available.
I added 127.0.0.1 www.msn.com and it worked – couldn’t load the page.
Hmmm :-\
Also, thanks again for helping me.
Answer #5
Hmmm… personally I don’t crack mac programs…. do you want a serial instead? I can supply. Just PM me
