Sound Technician Program
August 25th, 2013
In some weeks we have a big show at our school. The whole school will watch it and I’m responsible for all the sounds and music.
My question to you is, are there programs that facilitate this task?
Otherwise I’ll have to work with a lot of sound files and iTunes…
Thanks in advance,
Greetz,
Gympie

What exactly are you wanting the program to do?
I am surprised that your school is not providing you with the tools to do the job.
As SmAsHeDr said, without more info about what you need to do, we can’t help.
Oh I have a VERY good solution for you. Internet RADIO. Install lets say winamp. Under shoutcast you find thousands of radios (without ads) witch broadcast in VERY nice MP3 quality You can choose the slyle you want… even DJ music like house or pop mixes and stuff like that. It is just click play and no one will notice that arent you that are choosing the set.
You can now choose some radios in advance from diferent music styles for later swich between one and other.
Trust me they will think that you are a DJ pro.
You can always choose music sets of 1 hour from here http://www.mixcloud.com
It is for a show, not a party. All the classes come up with an act that goes together in the end. Each with there own sounds and music. They’ll send me all the files, but it’s quite ‘amateurish’ to do it with let’s say wmp :p
