You need pandora’s battery, but never fear, there is a method to make one without a spare battery now!

Thanks for the link friend. So if I am reading it right I can use the battery that came with the PSP? Is there anything that needs to be done to it? Thanks
Answer #3
You might wanna code your link
I believe you have to open it up and make it a Pandora battery.
Answer #4
You need to make a magic memory stick (so have a spare one). Then make your battery into a pandora and using the memory stick and battery will boot you into 1.50, so you can play ISOs or use custom firmware. Once you place a normal stick in the drive, it will work normally, so you won’t need to have a spare battery.
Don’t ask me about making the battery though, you’ll have to find out on google.

Thank you so much for the help. But from what I am reading you still must have a Phat PSP to make a pandora Battery which I do not have. Although I did see that there is a way but you “must have the files from a MS stick created by one.” Anyone know where to snag these at?

Hey mate! I got my PSP yesterday as well
Same situation, and I got all my material ready!
Then I rememered this thread!

Take a look at that thread I made! I asked all the questions I had
I suggest you buy yourself the battery I bought, because it has like 6 hours more length than the one the PSP comes with. Then just use your PSP battery (the one that came with the PSP) for the Pandora trick! You don’t need to solder with the battery that comes with the PSP, you just need to cut the cord :]
Hope that helps,
Nathan
PS, I got the Daxter pack. So if you got the same thing, we’re in the same boat!

Take a look at that too while you’re at it
That’s the battery the Slim PSP comes with! When in doubt, pop out your battery and take a look. If you see MODEL PSP-S110 under the big Sony logo on the back, then that’s the same exact picture in the battery.
Hope I could help even a little.

You rock man. Thank you so much this was the type of guidance I needed. The link you gave me pretty much has it all contained in an easy to find out way, Niceeee! Sure beats looking around at 100 places with 100 different models and 100 different ways to do it. I have the same battery “MODEL PSP-S110” also got the Daxter pack. Now I will be heading to Gamestop or somewhere similar to pick up another battery after the holiday and go for it. Thanks again.
EDIT
Works flawlessly now I am playing madden 08 and plan ion downloading every PSP game on this forum. Thanks for all the help guys.

Haha, glad to see you got it working man
I personally had my dad help me with mine and he sparked mine, but I bought a battery on eBay and am sending it to somebody to have them do mine.

It is a pain to get that cut. I had to use a very, very small razor knife. Think it was more luck than anything really. The thing is so damn small one slip and battery is toast. Anyways hope you get yours working right. Thanks for all the help
