[SOLVED]nt able to access Modem page UT300R2U

HI,
Iam unable to access my modem page i want to configure WIFI in my house.
When i type IPCONFIG it shows me this…

when i type the default gateway(59.93.90.212 r 192.168.1.1 r 192.168.1.2) in IE it doesnt pop’s up modem page.
I tried to reset the modem still no help….

Hi. 169.254.187.202 is an address that is generated automatically by Windows. It’s also known as an APIPA. It means that you are not connected to the router using that ethernet connection. The DataOne PPP looks like a DSL connection. Are you connected via an ethernet cable to the router? Also, you can’t access the router wirelessly from that computer unless that computer has a wireless card. If it doesn’t have a wireless card, then you have to plug it in using an ethernet cable.

Get Firefox and type “192.168.1.1” in address bar without quotes and give the username and password

Hey,
All you need to do if find out your router IP address and copy and paste it into browser address bar. If you let me or google know what type of router you are using I may be able to help you out.
So to clarify you neeed to find your Router IP address noting to do with DNS or Subnet mask gateways.
Im going to take a punt and say your router IP will look kinda like this 192.168.0.1.

The default gateway should be the router. There is no gateway listed for the first connection, which means that he is not connected to the router. So, he can’t type 192.168.1.1 or whatever into his browser. That won’t work.

hey thanks man…there was some problem withe reset button on the router….
