[SOLVED]GTA 4 goes blank

Hey Guys I have installed GTA from this thread did was told there

-install the game from the both disk
-download and applied both patch and first used the 1.0.7 crack and than 1.0.4 but when 7 did not work I went back to 4
-placed the xlive.dll into the game folder evn than it did not work so I renamed the xlive_d.dll to xlive.dll and placed it into the game folder
-Tried opening the game in safe mode not working
all I could see is the razor logo and its music after that the screen goes blank nothing happens after that the blank screen does not go away even if I end process it from the task manager.
Please any solution ?
My config is as below
AMD phenom x2 550BE
4GB corsair 800
win 7 x64
Radeon HD 4850 1GB

Blank screen – do you have directx installed? This is a common symptom.

direct x 11 also i upgrade my graphics drivers as well
I even extract the xlive.dll files

I had the same problem. I’m pretty sure I fixed it by installing xliveless:

Technically, you do not even need any crack. All that is required is the xliveless dll.
I’d recommend you reinstall the game and only move the xliveless dll into the game folder.

Thank all of you for the reply, I fixed the problem myself, I totally removed my graphic drivers and than reinstall them with the latest and now it is working { just a little slow so I lower the graphic in setting, now it seems to be working fine and saving too
