[SOLVED]Downloaded a ripped version of Vista, but no drivers

January 30th, 2020

Alright, I really don’t feel like explaining everything I had to go through to get my computer working again. So, here’s a short story, I downloaded a rip version of Vista, since the computer I’m using (not the computer I’m trying to fix) has a CD burner only, so I had no choice but to burn this ripped version. So, I install the Vista October Blue Edition onto my PC, but it doesn’t have any access to the internet. So, I have no network drivers, wireless or wired. How can I access the internet??
Answer #1
That’s what you suppose to do…Download all the drivers first before installing windows…
You can download the drivers with a computer that have access to the Internet…Then transfer the drivers to the other PC by using USB Pen, External drive or burning them to a cd…
Answer #2
you might wanna use CPU-z tool to check your mobo (to download chipset drivers)
Are you using 32bit vista maybe?
When i installed vista 64bit i didn’t even had to install my chipset drivers
my sound worked & so did my internet.
and like said, just get a usb stick and put them up there
Most driver downloads are zip files anyway, and they useally are about 50MB large. trow them on a stick, insert it copy & paste and excecute.
Answer #3
Dont you have a cd that came with the MB as that should have the drivers on it. Are you sure its a driver issue as some of these ripped O/S cut it down so its fast and small and dont have any networking installed
