Solved ! Modding X-Box 360 ?

Recently i bought xbox 360 kinect.
I want to play pirated games on it, how can i mod it or get it moded ?
chip mod or any soft mod will work ?
please let me which one is better and way to mod it….
Can i keep backup my pirated games on usb stick and play it ?
And is there any requirement which game i should download ? like in ps2 i could play only pal games… EDITED :: Its DVD Region 5, PAL

the best hack at the moment is cygnos V2 E duel nand with the coolrunner RGH hack
this hack will allow you to download and use all xbox360 region free u can play jtag game rips and all DLC for free All XBLA games for free and all that stuff
you can also put any size hardrive onto the xbox and PLAY ON XLIVE !!!

First of all, this is ILLEGAL!
But,
If you wan’t to play games, then you can flash your xbox. It is the easiest way. Basically tou have to change your xbox’s DVD drive’s firmware so that it doesn’t detect burned games. This is a soft mod, but you will have to open your xbox and it will void your warranty.
You can find ways to mod it on google or youtube or some forums.
If you have a PAL xbox you can play only PAL games…
If you flash, you can’t play games of a USB stick..

How do you do this? And does it require soldering?
yes depends on the motherboard and what chip you use
also the cygnos needs about 14 solders
the chips needs 6 for slim and 7 for fat

jaspers come in 3 different versions 16mb, 256, 512 mb nands
i do xbox hacking i have a jtag xbox
and i just received a brand new slim that was manufactured 3 months ago ready to RGH
people obviously think u can only flash dvd drives
my neighbor recommended me to get it moded…
but before getting it modded i need some questions to be answered…
1). can i keep my pirated games on pendrive , plug and play or only dvd will work ?
2). can i use xbox live after getting it modded
3). is there any other bad effect of getting it modded ?
no you cant play off pendrive unless its jtag ..
yes you can use it on live but u can get detected and banned
bad effects are u have to reflash everytime a new version is out to continue using new games

u would have to connect to xbox live to recieve updates…these updates will require permission from u to make changes on your xbox
u gotta update the flash only when ur flash is outdated but since all these new xbg3 and protections i wouldnt say its very stable atm
u can update ur dash normally but they will also detect ur firmware and ban u or reset ur flash

there is never a 100% guarantee that u will not be banned
if they detect some changes in your firmware(when you connect to xbox live) they will ban you
but i did mod my xbox last month and i never go to live…and i suggest u mod yours cos even a wwe game costs more than 1k

i think i should drop plan of getting it modded..
just now i saw the size of games, its around 4Gb+
i get only 60 to 90 kbps speed after using IDM so its impossible to download 1 Gb links…

If your going to play on Xbox Live, your console shouldn’t be modified at all.
Its more trouble then its worth if you know as much as I do.
i prefer only wwe games so i dont think i will be using xbox live …

You only need the Xbox 360 DVD drive flash, your Xbox can die of heat stroke if you don’t do anything with it.

Also do the fan mod, 9V or 12V.

so r u sayin upcomin games(MW3,assasins creed revelations,etc) wont play on the modded xbox?
Its possible that you can play, its just you need to buy other equipment.
You can bet your dollar on that they will be burnt on XGD3 disks.
The best for the Xbox 360 right now is the Reset Timing Glitch for the system, kind of like the old J-tag.
Drive flashing and game patching is just too much for normal use.
My Xbox is 4 Gb console – S4G0022 , MSXB0018…. model no. 1439/1414 …
is there any soft mod which would allow me to play pirated games……… it would be nice if i retain the xbox live membership and get firmware , other updates regularly…

it’s any soft mod ? or reflashing needed ?
J-tag is somewhat a hardware + software mod.
Basically you solder some wires into the stock NAND chip on the Xbox 360 or program that NAND directly with a NAND programmer.
All methods require soldering and your talking about surface mount components which the IC’s legs are very close together (barely a mm).
Its a very precision intensive work and the soldering is just one part, you must dump the stock firmware from the NAND and recompile your own.
The older J-tag required older Xbox 360 kernels with vulnerable exploits.
The recent exploit achievement is the reset glitch, by abusing one of the chips on the Xbox 360, the CPU is forced into rebooting itself till your IC can exploit it.
It might be a hassle with the next set of Xbox 360’s as MS has removed that vulnerable chip.
So its the most expensive mod available and its good for offline.

Only with J-tag or one of the drive emulators which you can plug and play.
You wouldn’t use a Flash drive, a stock unmodified Xbox 360 image is around 8 gigabytes, even with a scrubbed image, its still big.
You’d obviously use a external hard drive or the Xbox 360’s internal hard drive.
