[SOLVED] MD5 hash value for more than one file

August 1st, 2016

I am looking for a software program that can scan the files in a folder and show the hash values, specifically MD5. What I tried out is a program called “HashMyFiles”. It works well, but didn’t know if someone experienced a faster, better software? This is a sample of the output for HashMyFiles:
unformatted
MD5 Filename File Size CRC32

Some of my game uploads have more that 30 files to scan at one time.

I can make a program for you. I have a perl script but I don’t think that it is right for windows. If you already have python I can give you a command line tool, if you prefer a graphical utility I can do something.
There is a problem with speed: to calculate an hash you need the file entirely, so the program needs to check every bits of the file.
