[SOLVED] help me to identify this movie

all i can remember about this movie is
1) it’s a movie like prom night (not so sure about that)
2) a troubled young boy caught by a gang of bullies while kissing a girl in their college gym and then those bullies beat the hell out him
3) there is a scene where a girl gets a box of chocolates from that boy and when she eat one of those chocolates its filled with worms
that’s all i can remember so can you guys plz help me to identify this movie coz i wanna see it again so badly

i saw it on television mate, i think i was in sixth grade when i saw it (again not so sure about that)
btw that’s year 2000 or 2001
thnx to that kissing scene my mom turn off the tv (typical chinese mom)
