site for music

is there like a site or service where it tells u or even email u about new singles/music videos/albums from the artists u have choosen.
eg something like if a new single is released or something then it sends u a email saying so
doesn anyone no of a site like this or similiar?

I don’t know of a site that will email you that info, but a site I visit often, allmusic is always up to date on new singles/music videos/albums from the artists you like. All you have to do is type the artist’s name in the search box.

discogs is the most complete database i know of, but they won’t send you emails.

There’s no site that will do that for you. Unfortunately you have to get off your arse and do it yourself. As vast as the internet is, I would have thought someone would be offering this kind of service.

but im not really familiar with wat a rss feed is
but i no there is a gadget for it im using windows 7
so will i be able to see these feeds on there?
rite now it just made this thing in my firefox underneath my address bar
will that be updated when a new album or something comes out?
also is it possible to see these feeds on desktop or like on a webpage?
