Should/Could have with Past Participle?

January 29th, 2020

I’m not completely sure about this.
As far as it seems to me, it should be, for example: You should have gone to the party.
And not: You should have went to the party.
?
And another thing – I don’t remember this one. Is “Should” solely for past sentences?
I think that its future tense is “Shall”, but I’ve also seen somewhere “Shall” marked as a third-person Present Simple.
So if I want to speak to a second person, what do you use? Should it (*Or, apparently “shall it”?) then be… What?
Even though that I’m actually not quite sure what can be Present Simple with this.
Present Simple would be, for example, “I watch the news every day”.
All I can think about are sentences that sound more like they’re about the future.
Thanks in advance.
