Shockwave Flash and plugin container problem for firefox 30
August 8th, 2016
I had a similar problem using Firefox 30.0 on Windows 8.1 update1 over the past few days. Every time I closed Firefox and Thunderbird the errors popped up and the same happened when I tried IE. But I only started getting those errors after installing windows updates a few days ago.
I couldn’t figure out what the problem was but it had something to do with Windows updates because in the end I just got smiling of trying to fix it and reinstalled Windows to my last backup on the 9th of this month. Everything worked fine then and I was selective about what to update from available updates and I’m pleased to say I have no more of those annoying errors.
think its to do with microsoft silverlight some of the problem is or by disasbling some of the plugins in firefox itself and seeing which 1 is causing it after enabling them again 1 by 1
thank you for your help guys…i hope something of this will work for me…..if anyone can add something about the problem feel free to step up with some solution.
edit: in firefox plugins part it says: Shockwave Flash 13 – Always Activate….i’ll try to put Never Activate and see what will happen.
this is all plugins that i have in firefox 30 plugin part:
Adobe Acrobat Reader 9.1.0.163 – it’s vulnerable and should be updated – option:Ask To Activate
Google Update 1.3.24.15 – – option: Ask To Activate
Shockwave Flash 13.0.0214 – option:Never Activate
When i start mozzila web browser i,after some time of browsing, got window with message firefox is crashed, shockwave flash stop to work, plugin container stop to work…when i start task manager and in processes part, from plugin parts, it says: flash player plugin 13.0.0.214 – description adobe flash player 13 and plugin container.exe – description plugin container for firefox, near them are also signs from CPU and Memory (Private Working Set)….i’m really trying to figure out what is causing that plugin container stop to work and crashing browser, what i should disable, what i should update that mozzila as web browser not crushing anymore???
You might start by updating Shockwave Flash plug-in to version 14.0.0.125

Firefox container.exe runs in a sandbox and is supposed to keep a plug-in from crashing the browser by running it in a separate process. Try this troubleshooting method to help determine the cause of the crashes by disabling the plugin container.
Go to: Control Panel > System > Advance System Settings
Click the button called “Environment Variables”
Click the New button under System variables Set the variable name to MOZ_DISABLE_OOP_PLUGINS and its value to 1
If it was a plugin conflicting with the sandbox environment of plugin container; the crashes should stop.
If it is an unstable plugin causing the crashes; Firefox will continue to crash in spite of not utilizing plugin container.exe In that case, you can easily reverse the steps by deleting the system variable entry to switch back to using the plugin container.
mozzila is contanstly crushing either with or without plugin container, shockwave flash and adobe acrobat, i mean when those components are activated or not mozzila will crush while browsing pages…..here are problem deatils and this is the last part with hope of some solution:
