setting up DualShock 3 on PC

May 12th, 2018

I use a software named Better DS3 to hook my ds3 to the pc and it worked flawlessly with the usb. However, i want to use it wirelessly to prevent my ds3 from overcharging.
After i pair my ds3 with bluetooth on my pc, all the led on my ds3 flashing like it cant find its master. Is there a way how to fix this?

DS cannot overcharge don’t bother yourself with this it has a MOSFet transistor as a final measure against it among other protections. If the led stays on it means nothing it’s powered by the usb port.

So if i continue to use my ds3 plugged to the usb port on my pc, it wont harm the ds3 battery ?

Yes it won’t harm it. There is of course natural decline and a li-po battery has a shorter life but it should take a lot of time before you notice anything major.
