resident evil 5 not working

whenever i start the launcher and hit the directx9 button its loading for few seconds im seeing black screen and than it turns me back to the windows any idea how to fix this i dont see a pc patch for it though

You could try running the exe as admin. And disable any av software that might be running when launching the game.

well i got AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+ and ATI Radeon HD 3850 with 256 MB
