recovering images

can someone please help, some images got deleted from a selphone so i pluged it as a memory drive and tried to recover the images by recuva, into a spasific folder, it found the picture and placed them in that folder but for some reason when i try to open them they wont open.
is there any way to fix the images the type of selphone is nokia n95 and the type of images is jpg.
p.s. i also used undelete but same result.

it sounds these programs are finding the file headers, but not all the data is there. they were probably overwritten. try this. if it doesn’t work, then i think you’re out of luck.

Try file scavenger,If no dice then getdataback , Where did you restore those images to? You should NEVER
recover files to same device/partition they were deleted from,As data can only be recovered as long as it hasnt
been overwritten by new data..
