Answer #1
ditch the amd, their cpu’s suck right now. they were good a couple years ago but not anymore. go with an e8400 since dual cores win in gaming vs a quad core and a asus p5q pro. And get better brand for the ram and PSU. the psu you chose is horrible and will kill all your hardware.
PSU you should get:

make sure you use the coupon code esave15
And ram you should get:

Answer #2
Yeah but I am not a pure gamer I just need it for the future etc… and its pre-built
Answer #3
build it yourself, you’ll save yourself like $400, that thing is a rip off. If you want a quad core then get the q9550 or q9400.
Answer #4
Still, Intel processors turn out to be the best on energy use and speed in comparison to AMD.
And you might need more than 500GB hdd.

The computer that is being custom built does not come with that option… so I guess I will have to stick with that

It looks good, but if I were you I’d change mobo to a 780iFTW or just 780i + a Q4450 or Q9550 + an aftermarket cooler and oc like crazy. If you got a little more in you budget maybe get 1066mhz ram and a GTX280.
Answer #9
My budget is actually only $1,500 i already exceeded it.
