Rapidshare Question

February 4th, 2020

Hi
Just a quick couple of questions before I purchase a “premium” membership on Rapidshare.
1. What do I get for 500 ‘rapids’? It doesn’t say on the website, I googled it and somebody had said it equals 150GB, is this correct?
2. I’m in Student Accomodation with shared internet, speeds are good but I have to log into my connection (which I imagine means someone can see what I’m downloading). For this reason I have been avoiding torrents, will it be safer to use Rapidshare?
Thanks a lot

Answer #1
not to burst your bubble…but hold that though…RS is dying on here…slowly…but it is…go with MU or FS and you will be soo much more happier I promise you
Answer #2
Thanks for the heads up, I’ve been using torrents a lot recently and not really kept up. So safety wise are all file hosts the same?
Answer #3
yea your safe that way…i personally have a FS/MS account…but MU is great also…and torrents a good alternative if you want that one file but they dont have the host file you want
Answer #4
Safety wise yes. The ‘best’ service is somewhat dependent on where you live.
A lot of people have moved away from RS lately since RS has ceased rewarding for uploads (due to legal pressure).
In deciding what file host suits you best, be careful to avoid being encouraged to go to <blahblah> site by people who just want to b paid for reffering you.
There’s a lot of that lately.

Thanks for both of your replies. I think I’ll probably go with MU since I’ve used that one a lot before (albeit as a free user) although I have noticed as a free user FS has better speeds. Are MU speeds much better if you go premium?
Thanks
Answer #6
yes you can get speeds for MU premium that are better than the free version, this is generally true with most hosts that you get more when you pay
