Question about RS premium account

I see that anyone can register on RS.com…
So, when i upload something AS A FREE user, and someone dl my files as a FREE user – can i convert 8000 (when i gather them) points to a premium account or must i be a premium user in order to do something with the accounts…

If you make a Collector account, and you make enough points, then yes, you can make a premium account, but you need 10000, not 8000

Just make a collectors account, upload popular stuff and once you have 10k points you can covert them for a month of premium.
