question about Flashing a 360
April 8th, 2020
Flashing the Xbox 360 doesn’t need a HDD at all to begin with. All you need is that Xbox 360 DVD drive, if you don’t have a connectivity kit, you have to drag that Xbox 360 along with the DVD drive powered using the case and grounded via alligator clips. If you flash it yourself you might need to buy some stuff.
After I get it modded/flashed can I play disc burned games without an hdd?

The HDD is not really needed, its only required if you want to save a few seconds in loading time, play Xbox games, increase laser lifespan (although I recond you get RROD faster) and the best thing about the HDD is that it cuts the DVD drive noise out of the monster.

Most of the time, Davidtan’s posts are absolutely worthless and almost always lack merit. If I were you, I wouldn’t take any of his advice.
Oh ok
And back on topic…The HDD has NOTHING to do with whether or not you can flash a 360. You don’t need it in any way shape or form, the only use it has is for gamesaves and/or downloading XBL content. If you decide to buy a 360 now, you can always buy an HDD later should you need one.
If you need help flashing your 360, check the link in my sig…and if you still have questions, shoot me a PM.

I guess you didn’t understand me, I meant that most consoles get RROD before the laser diode is dead.
I did ask you to believe me, its the internet.
