[Q]Hosting Company

Hy all,i was thinking these days to open a hosting company (just hoting without domain selling).
Tell me please what i need to have for this??
i dont need the CPU specification etc etc (they are not a problem )
I just want to know if i need a contract or something like that,for opening a hosting company.
I’v already got a firm (im ISP).
What else i will need?(excluding scripts,space,bandwidth)
I need to know just what kind of contracts i need to make and this kind of stuffs

You’ll need to make your own ToS (terms of service). You’ll need that in order to make a clear and legal agreement with your costumers. Also you might want to register your company as an official business. It will help reel in costumers. I remember when I started a hosting company the toughest part was getting costumers. It’s a competitive market out there so good luck.

you think unlimited bandwidth and 500mb HDD unlimited MS/MYSQL DB,for 5$ is good enough?

it all depends on whether thats monthly or yearly, and if you’re overselling ( selling unlimited bandwidth or space usually does ). who you are selling to etc..

i duobt u will be able to supprt unlimited bandwith (seriously)
just use common sense, if rapidshare doesnt let u download unlited, y would u? (for nubs – rapidshare is the largest file host on the web)

Even if you happened to implement the ‘unlimited bandwidth’ as one of your feature, no one would bother to believe you as the first impression would be, yet another soon-to-close-down-host!
Start your packages with a few MB of disk space, and a few GB of bandwidth, and slowly increase the packages to a moderate level. How you going to finance your server expenses? Are you planning to implement ads on customer’s page?
