PSP random button pressing
February 3rd, 2020
is the game “rockband: unplugged” ? because i had the same problem while choosing in some menus. so, when it started moving by itself i just held the anolog stick down for a few seconds and then it works nicely again.
actually the game is resistance retribution but i will try out that trick thanks i guess and people keep this post alive i need a solution
Go back to 5.00 M33
umm how?
um…what i would do is downgrade back to official firmware and then install 5.00M33 cfw
so i gotta get a pandora battery and a magic memory stick right?and what would cause such immature behavior from my PSP i didn’t drop it in like half a year so i’m wondering could it be because i installed a patch on the wrong firmware or what?
P.S. your method didn’t work
If messing with the firmware fails, take it apart and clean out the contacts etc.
You’d be surprised how easy it is to fully take apart and rebuild a PSP (Well, a PSP-1000)
mine is a PSP-2004 and i’ve watched some videos all you gotta do is take the seal off where the battery is and unscrew and its done
It’s easy, but nowhere near that easy.
well it’s not that easy but it’s a walk in the park
umm if your psp already has CFW then all you have to do is just get the update and install it. So for you just get the 5.00m33 update and go to games and run the installer.
5.00 m33 i can’t install because it says i already have a later version and i do(5.50 UR32)so what should i do ? should i just wait until a new update is released because i’ve got the newest
P.S. i did took the PSP apart i took of the faceplate and it all worked normally but when i enter Resistance or LocoRoco the button pressing continues but i don’t press anything
P.S.2. i tried running a UMD game and everything was ok also i tried running PSX game with pops and everything was fine so i guess its just the PSP games and some homebrew also was acting strangely
