PS3 Warez Tutorial?

Hi guys, recently joined here and I’m an owner of a PS3 running the latest firmware (3.7 i believe) and I am wondering how I can use the “Console Games” section of this site. Do I need to jailbreak my PS3? If not, how do I put the game on my PS3, if I do, is there I way I can jailbreak it without losing PSN? Thanks!

yea this is a lost cause i did this back on 3.41 with the jailbreak “dongles” you could buy ran some games off a ext hdd but then once the updates it stopped working…it was also done on 3.55 but i never messed with it…plus all the new games werent working for me b/c they required 3.50 or higher…i had about 15 games that worked all older…sorry to be bearer of bad news but noone does it anymore games no longer are being uploaded they new firmware havnt been jailbroken…

You need to wait until a jailbreak come out for 3.70+, there is no way to downgrade to older versions except for using progskeet, however most people don’t recommend it
And playing online while using a Custom Firmware (Jailbreak) may ban you from accessing PSN’s servers.
And as mentioned above, New games require 3.50+ versions. In other words, They would never work on older versions.

GeoHot didn’t give up he had to make a deal with Sony not to every jailbreak PS3 or there would be more lawsuits to follow so he agreed not to touch the ps3. after he jailbroke 3.41 sony literally try to ~censored~ him with an army of lawyers and after he has stopped working on it.. its very safe to assume and Playstation 3 is probably the only platform that is unhackable at this point.!!

PS3 unhackable? It’s broken, that the latest games wont run is another issue (needs CFW like PSP or individual cracks like a PC game, or perhaps both)
