PS3 Downloaded game help

Ok I have a PS3 slim running 4.55 firmware and from what i have figured out it can not be jailbroken unless i buy a E3 Flasher. What i want to know is can i still install downloaded games without jailbreaking it, and if yes please tell me how. Thanks for the help.

no. sorry you must be running 3.55. im running 3.55 spoofing 4.55 and i put them on a hdd and boot them with multiman. its much easier just finding a 3.55 console and installing the cfw. but they getting so much harder to find now

Thanks thats what I thought. do you know if there will be a crack for the 4.55 it seems like its been years since the last crack came out

yea they pretty much dont mess with it anymore.. they are still making newer cfw versions. you have to run 3.55 but i installed a 4.55 cfw spoof so my playstation has better reliability with the newer games. and some games have to be on a firmware version newer than 4.55. then i will have to go online and find a “eboot” fix and you replace a file with the “hacked eboot file” then make the iso and copy to your hdd. theres alot more too it than you think but ive been in the ps3 mod scene a long time if you ever buy a 3.55 i would help you out no problem.
