Prototype on a banned Xbox running iXtreme 1.4

Okay, I know about the wave 3 thing but reflashing my Xbox isn’t really an option right now. So I got the patcher (ppf-o-matic3.exe) that makes wave 3 games playable on pre-1.51 versions of ixtreme but for some reason it doesn’t work, when inserted an error is displayed “To play this disc, put it in an Xbox 360 console.”
Tried clearing the cache, didn’t help. I’ve heard that I need an update or something from Xbox Live but I haven’t been online since the ban wave in November, I updated the console to the NXE from the Microsoft website though. Any ideas?

Microsoft has said time and time again that they have sofisticated methods of catching Flashed 360's. Chances are you're going to get caught and you're box is gonna die. Why take the risk?

your out of luck mate, you can try re burning again after applying the wave 2 patches to the game. See if it works, if not then you will have to upgrade to 1.6 or rather if i where you i would downgrade to xtreme firmware versions as there are no checks and that makes no difference to you becuase it’s already banned. This way you don’t have to worry about stealth or waves
