Prototype Crashes

Hey, my problem is that i cant play prototype further then throwing the car at the helicopter (First mission.)
Does someone has the same problem? or can someone tell me what i might be?
Processor: AMD X2 5200+
Graphic card: Asus Geforce 8400GS
Soundcard: Onboard, 7.1 High Definition Audio – Realtek i guess.
