Well you should never write to a DVD that fast ;> max 8x.

I know but i trust my DVD’s. Verbatim is the best brand on the earth for DVD’s.Becuz 16x versions can be writed on 20x’s
Answer #3
Yes but I use a even better brand and never burn above 8x ;>
Answer #4
you don’t burn @ 16x, tho the disc’s support it
but no one else duz either
the only time it burns anywhere near that rate is when it reaches the outer part of the disc
where the disc spins the fastest
the 1st(inner) part of the disc is probly closer to 10x
how long it take you to burn a DVD, 4-6 mins ?
Answer #5
I’ll chime in here as well…. Just to say that -R/RW is a better choice. -R/RW is more compatible that +R/RW discs.

Yeah DVD-R are better and more compatible with Standalone DVD Players & as
says you have to put up with this especially when youre using 16x.

Answer #8
16x is most likely your problem.
Answer #9
he duz not have a problem
it’s normal
a “stable” 16x on the inner part of the DVD will cause write errors
info he could use is how long duz it take to burn a DVD
my 16x TDK DVD’s burn in 4 to 6 mins on a 16x burner
they start @ like 10x and finish around 14-15x
DVD burners don’t burn @ the same speed for the whole disc, they burn faster near the outer part
and 16x is like mileage on a car, you always get less than the sticker says
now that being said duz not mean it can’t go faster
have you checked for a firmware update for the burner
Answer #10
DVD-R Verbatim will not work on Macintosh. So much of the best world brand.
