Port forwarding with uTorrent

January 25th, 2020

I’m in need of help with port forwarding for uTorrent.
I have a WRT54G router, i haev gone into my router interface, browsed to Applications & Gaming and followed the setups using a start port of 1 and an end port of 65535 with the Protocol being set to both.
I’ve checked my computer address which is .100
So that’s all in order. My uTorrent port is 48596, random port is disabled along with UPnP which is the same within the control’s of my router.
I’m running ESET smart security, I’ve disabled all the features and nothing is working.
Using Windows Vista with it’s firewall disabled.
Every time I go to http://www.utorrent.com/ it says teh port is not forwarded when it clearly is?
I attempted with JUST my modem and it still wouldn’t work, any ideas guys?
Please remember that ALL links must be coded, including, but not limited to, e-mail addresses, passwords, and internal links. Coded for you this time.

Internet Services? Who is your ISP.
Also enable DMZ on your computers IP address to see if that works.

Your port is not open or not reachable, but it’s all set up in my router correctly. :S

yo, i use “simple port forward” its a free app but i decided to donate $10 because it works. It has a step by step method and a tool that automatically makes a static ip and adds the ports, have fun
Answer #5
I used that same program, but it doesn’t work. I have come to the conclusion that the uTorrent website is stupid and non-functional, as I can seed and download torrents on public and private trackers just fine.

Attempted all those methods and still not getting anywhere.

Hmm i’m getting around 150.0 KB/s still. So not too bad but depends on seeders
