port forward can seback to default? got any disadvantages?

can i set back my router setting to default by pressing the reset button?
will i get any disadvantages if i forward port? once i reset router, i have to forward port again right?
can reply all my question?
i have to know this urgently

Why reset the router…Just login to your router…Remove the ports and save…

Once you hardware reset your router you will have to set it all up from scratch, including usernames, passwords and port forwarding.
