Playing 720p mkv file
July 28th, 2013
I opened it with Media Player Classic. But it gets stuck at moments (like suddenly fastforwarding, all pixels across the screen…)
I downloaded CCCP.
Also tried Windows Media Player en DAPlayer… but still the same
Anyone any ideas?
Sounds like the file is corrupt in some way,try downloading from a different source if possible.
ya maybe corrupted..
but still try the movie with vlc player once..
if it shows same behaviour then re download the movie..
Might be,
1. File might be corrupted while downloading..probably all part were not joined properly while getting different lines.
2. Try playing with VLC for MKV files.
Thanks all for fast reply.
I was afraid that there was something wrong with my computer.
Seems like the file was corrupted
I prefer Media Player Classic xD

what do you mean my vga does not support hd acceleration?
(Nvidia GT555M)
What did you use to download it with?
I used to use a program called download studio which i thought worked well, until i realised that on random occasions the download was corrupted.
Tried downloading same file again and was corrupt in a different spot.
Went back at that time to fdm and things were fine,as nothing was wrong with file.
So i put it down to something like an error correction type thing that wasn’t working with download studio.
Is the file the same size on your disk as what it is from the download link?
Remux the MKV with mkvmerge GUI and set the “Compression” option on the “Extra Options” tab for all tracks to “None”. Do not leave blank, you have to set it to “None”. That fixed problematic MKVs I’ve had in the past.
Another suggestion, uninstall CCCP and get Shark007’s Codecs Package instead.
