It sounds like an emergency shutdown, which your processor will initiate if it gets over a certain temperature. I think its an overheating problem, so perhaps buy a better processor cooler and you’ll be fine. I suggest the tuniq tower, or artic cooling 7 pro.
Answer #2
check your fans and make sure they r running & clean
CPU fan might be clogged
sounds like it’s overheating
Answer #3
Yep. It might be a processor overheat problem. When the PC starts do you see a message saying that your processor was overheating? If that’s the problem you might want to check your Heatsink. Good luck with your problem^^

it will ruin the airflow..
Answer #9
when your computer overheats it does cause it to get choppy or slow. just buy a cpu fan. (for ur processor>)
Answer #10
Install ‘Speedfan” this will let you monitor your temperatures..

Answer #11
powerfailure most likely. or just a timed virus. This virus is simple i dont think that it can be found. (this is because it can be made in a windows lanuage known as “batch”
Answer #12
Sounds like it’s definetly a overheating problem, I would also do the following:
1: take cpu & heatsink & fan out totaly clean them down, & check the cpu socket as well.
2: take out ur video card & totaly clean the fans, & check the video socket as well.
3: check there is nothing on the underneath of the motherboard, like empty screw pins not being used, as they can some times short out the motherboard & cuase alsot of problems with the pc not working correctly.
4: run a good virus & spyware as well, just in case, u never know as someone stated before, it could be a virus batch file cuaseing the problem as well.
5: And finaly if u have done everything, try putting in another hard drive & install windows onto it, & see if starts the same problem, u will know then it’s not a corrupt or virus or spyware cuaseing the problem.
If u do find it’s a overheating problem, then sort out a good replacement heatsink & fan, to replace the old one, i use Zalmans cpu coolers, they r just prefect.
At the end of everything, maybe check out that the cpu isnt fired by now as well, if u can try swapping the cpu with another as well, but we cant afford to buy cpu’s to check sometimes as well.
These are just idea’s & personal experiance i have come across, & as troubleshooting guide to look for problems.
Sweet, hope it helps:-)))
