PC overheating problem

From past week my Desktop is overheating and automatically turns off. I just start it, then fan starts with a great sound like system is heavily working up. And after few minutes it turns off.
I air blowed the CPU which increased the time of turning off but it is still getting turned off. Please tell what to do.

You need to apply some thermal paste to the CPU..
If that fails..Maybe a new CPU fan……
You seem to be having general temp problem, do you have case fans installed? Is there dust in the case? Also, you definitely need a good thermal paste, get a prolimatech one.
I have coolermaster case having one case fan in front side. As the image says, one fan has >7000 RPM and another has <1100. ARe they fine? I mean isn’t 1100 slower?
it depends on the size of the fan also,if it`s small you will get low rpm
is the 7000 rpm one used of the case or cpu?
if the 1100 rpm is used for cpu then consider getting a new cpu cooler.
With CPU fan, you mean the heat sink one? The one which cools the processor? Sorry, I am a noob in H/W.
Yes, CPU fan is the one on the heatsink.
Your bios can control the fans so that they run slower until things heat up.
You might want to look in there to confirm your fan speeds and temps, that 7000 rpm one seems very fast to me!
(you might have a motherboard app that reads all these things from the bios)

let me rephrase,do you have a huge ass cooler on the cpu,or a small monkey ?
that low fan speed (1003rpm) may be from the fan binding up
the fan spin freely with your finger ?
you could try something like this

or purchase a new fan
or fan and heatsink Assembly no mater what you do, as says, clean off the old and re apply new thermal paste

@ Yes the fan is spinning freely. @ I am uploading a picture of my case. I think it is a smaller monkey.
I have ordered a thermal paste. Will try that. But still not able to get the reason why this is happening abruptly. I have this CPU since 3 years and it is showing this problem now.
Can you please remove the CPU fan and post a pic of it alone? Also, you definitely need a back case 120mm fan. Also, are you perhaps european / mediterranean? Where are you from?
change your case fan.. the one on the front pa.. get high airflow fans (example: CoolerMaster Sickleflow 120mm fan)
remove your CPU heatsink and fan.. CLEAN THEM (remove dust) then reapply thermal paste on the CPU when mounting it back again

Screw hole spacings and fan sizes
32mm between screw holes40mm fan size

Mount the fan so the air blows from the inside of the case to the outside.
(And a front fan should blow from to outside to inside the case)
When you replace the heatsink, make sure any screws and clamps are tight as
the heatsink must exert a decent amount of pressure on the CPU to ensure good heat transfer.
As shown in the manual, your motherboard has various types of fan speed settings..

I replaced the power cable.
While applying new thermal paste ( Cooler Master MasterGel Maker Nano), I observed that the previous paste receded a lot. So I think this was the major cause for what was happening.
I also add a new fan (CoolerMaster Sickleflow 120mm ). Though I have one CoolerMaster 120mm already at front side, I tried to install it in front side for inward flow, but could not due to non availability of sockets, so i installed it in Back side for the outward flow. I hope it is fine? let me know if it is not.
Though I think It is fine for now as I am getting below readings. A heartiest thanks to all of you guys.
So you have 2 case fans now…One at the front and one at the back ?
If a fan blows in the wrong direction, you just tip the whole fan over.
Temps look a lot better now…Run some tests such as Prime95 to see if they hold up.

I think you can do it with the Gigabyte app too..
If you set them for temperature control, they will be slower and nice and quiet when things are cool
but speed up when needed.
A very good program for displaying temps and other sensors, displaying info, and doing benchmarks and stability tests
is AIDA64 Extreme …You can get that here on the forum..
