pc is shutting down when playing a game

January 24th, 2020

ive been having problems with pc cause whenever i play the game the pc automatically shuts down even if i got in the game after 2 seconds it shuts down and after that when im restarting couple of times it just gets to the point when you see windows is loading but after it the screen is black i even hear the sounds from skype and yahoo so i know its in but i dont see nothing then i have to wait for some time so it can normally get in the windows so do you think its the graphic card problem cause everything is pointing at that
Answer #1
For games i think it might be suffering from Over-Heat problems !?
They do tend to shut off quite frequently if you dont give them time to cool down.
Experiment a bit in Cool conditions, if its PC, open the lid and you know etc etc..
.
And you are sure its not a display problem !?
You cant do absolutely anything on it or it shuts down ONLY when you start a game.
After how much time on average it remains open, (as in showing something, not just CPU.)

i think the first time it started messing was in the morning when i started it and it was just showing you screen of that windows logo and that its loading but after when it has to get to those windows files loading i couldnt see nothing then i was playing anomaly warzone earth and thats when it shutted down after some time and after i got in portal 2 and after 2 second it just shuts down and then again was this first problem of not seeing the windows but then after half and hour its normal
temp 1 25C temp 2 -4C
temp 3 54C
gpu 83C
core 54C
Answer #4
gpu is bloody high – was that during or just after a game or on start up and idle?
If idle it might be that the gpu fan is dead or dust bunnies making it stop.
Answer #5
yeah i know and it was on start up i wasnt playing any game in the meantime
Answer #6
It’s possible it could be mis-reading the temp sender on the graphics card.. that’s happened before with various cpu/gpu combinations.
Pop your case open, grab a torch, start your computer up and look with the torch to make sure the gpu fan is actually running.
Make sure there’s no dust bunnies stopping it or slowing it down..
Answer #7
yeah ive been eating some dust now and cleaning and yep its the dust problem after portal 2 gpu was 72
Answer #8
yeah its not dust the problem is more serious i was about to watch extras in portal and it just shut down again maybe its losing contact in graphic card or whatever it is
Answer #9
yeah its not dust the problem is more serious i was about to watch extras in portal and it just shut down again maybe its losing contact in graphic card or whatever it isit may be the fan seizing up. if it’s made in china, and has sleeve bearings, that’s probably the problem. I’d replace that with a good quality ball bearing fan, and be done with it. your GPU temp being so high is a good indicator.
Answer #10
yeah its made in china and it has sleeve bearings its that chieftec 450W
Answer #11
You might not have enough RAM
Answer #12
