Password protected rar files

September 21st, 2013

Just a quick question. Now I know this probably is a ~censored~ question, but I’m a complete feckwit at computer. Just love this site for getting me tv-shows when I come home from Uni.
But I recently DL’ed a movie I fancy watching, and it’s password protected on all rar files. Am I missing something?
Can someone please tell me whether I can watch it, or whether I need something?
Cheers

You need to extract the .rar files (assuming they are named xxxxxx.part1.rar, xxxxxx.part2.rar, etc) using software such as WinRAR.
Simple install WinRAR (available from www.rarlab.com), right click part1.rar and select “Extract Here”.
It should then prompt you for a password (look where you got the links for the movie in the first place).
Put the password in, it will extract the movie to the same directory as the .rar files are in.

Thank you. Very helpful!
Have a good evening :=)

2nd suggestion – always say thanks for the uploaded movie, that way if you forget the password, just search for your posts and the movie post will be in the list!

I agree.. but..
I do have a small problem with the thanks system:
There are quite a number of tosspots who post rubbish, fakes, or PSX games touted as PC (and insist they are full PC, even though it’s pretty obvious they’re emulated).
So you say thanks, but they don’t deserve thanks. OR
You don’t say thanks, then find it’s very well deserved, but have forgotten the thread because there are so many with the same content..
What would be good is a ‘pre-thanks’ button, sort of like the egosearch, where we can log a post as important to us, then come back later and post thanks..

you could just watch it or favourite it,or is the functionality of this pre-thanks button idea you have, different?
