No Sound In Vista ? HELP NEEDED

Basically We Just Installed A Fresh Version Of Windows Vista…
We Downloaded All The Drivers Including The Sound Driver..
It Says That Its Working But It Wasnt.. We Tryed Absoulty Everything..Unplugging The Speakers Ect…
And We Disabled The Sound And Now It Has A Nice Big Juicy X On The Sound Icon
Please Help?

First, what type of computer you’re working on?
then
Go to “My Computer -> System properties -> Device manager” and find any driver that has a mark next to it.
And put the info here.
