Networking Question

Im using a crossover ethernet cable to plug directly PC to PC, but its not letting me connect to the internet unless I disable the other connection. Any suggestions? Thank you if you can help me.

I would buy a switch =) It’s like 15 bucks, get my ethernet cables, create my network and voil�.

sure it wouldn’t connect coz if u have only one network adapter on the system,it can have only one connection mate…..give the exact specifics for more help..
