Need help with making a game work

just install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ and the game will work
I downloaded a compressed version of bully, and extracted all 9.rar files to a single .rar file and extracted that to the folder that contains the the game.
i was instructed to launch bully by double clicking bully.exe, when this error appeared:

I posted my error and someone who experienced the same problem said he fixed it by installing Visual C++. This is exactly what he wrote in a message:
“just install the latest Microsoft Visual C++ and the game will work
So i google’d Microsoft Visual C++ and found this website:
http://www.microsoft.com/express/download/
I downloaded Microsoft Visual C++ Express Edition and installed it. (Not sure if it was the correct C++ but it was the latest, so i dunno)
So now i am here, after i downloaded C++ Express Edition, i went to launch Bully.exe and the same error occurred, but i think i may have to do something with Visual C++ Express.
Now, am i doing anything wrong? Did i install the wrong Visual C++ ?
Am i supposed to do something with Visual C++ in order to get Bully.exe to work?
I am really lost, and would really appreciate someone who has an expertise in this area to lend a helping hand.

#3.5 Bumping is allowed provided that the reply has relevant information that is useful to the continuance of the topic. Short intervals of bumps are not allowed to bump the topic up onto the first page by the same person.
Example:

and maybe the file path is to long, try

Have you got Microsoft NET FRAMEWORK 3 installed, I had a similar problem to a software that couldn’t launch, but after installing Net Framework 3 it worked like a charm !!!

try to grab another version of the game that isn’t compressed.
from personal experience, i tend to stay away from those highly compressed games/software, since it could be missing parts/vital install data

have limited dl but bro so it kinda sucks, if i choose something i want to make sure it is smaller

just as long you dont change the password… but the post count is making me unsure to do so…
