Need help jailbreaking ps3.

That’s the one I got although I didn’t purchase it from that site. My ps3 is on firmware 3.41 just to let you know.
I put the jailbreak dongle into my ps3, press power then eject, light goes red but then green a few seconds later. Green is good but I’m not sure if it’s supposed to go red then green but whatever.
PS3 comes on, I install backup manager from a fat32 formatted usb dongle.
Edit: Forgot to mention the usb was supplied blank but I installed the latest firmware available from the jailbreak upgrader supplied on the site, still didn’t work, tried some different hex files from psgroove, psfreedom etc, still didn’t work?
Everything looks good, I then go to backup manager and try to copy cod4 from the BD to HDD0 (internal)
It copies over fine, I get brought back to the xmb. I go back to backup manager, launch cod4 and get back to the xmb again, which is normal. I then try to start cod4 and the screen goes black, I get the cod4 logo at the start but then the screen stays black?
I tried some other games and and when I try to launch them the xmb dissapears and my wallpaper is just stuck on the screen?
I tried over and over again to get the game and other games to boot but nothing works?

Thanks, had a look at the site, apparently a lot of the games I tried aren’t supported, I’ll see if I can find some more games lying around the house.
