[NEED HELP] Fifa Manager 08 corrupt .exe warning

I downloaded the game from here and it ran fine for about 6hrs of gameplay. It then chose to drop out to windows at the end of a game after choosing to proceed from the match summary screen. An error message appears in windows saying That fifamanager08.exe has stopped working.
Can anyone help with this problem or suggest a better .exe?
– Windows Vista Home Premium
– 1.66 Intel Dual Core
– 2gb RAM
– 896 mb gfx (600mb shared, so 256 card in effect)
– 200gb HDD
